Does smoking really affect how quickly the HPV virus stays in the body?
I asked the CDC website and they claimed there is no direct link between the two. I suppose smoking ruins your overall health, but I dunno how that affects the HPV virus.
Also, don’t most ppl clear the virus in 1-2 anyway? Does that mean smokers don’t do it as quickly?

Dont know which on of you commented about whether you get genital warts around the mouth ot throat: BUT THATS A HIGHLY UNUSUAL CASE. One in a 100 are likely to get oral genital warts: Thats why they are called: GENITAL warts.
If Gardasil gives you genital warts, all one has to do to avoid this is to avoid the vaccine, which in any case is a shameless money-making racket.
And who wants an outbreak of genital warts on their face anyway, in exchange for some dubious or non-existing protection from the vaccine? It’s bad enough having genital warts in private places, without having to parade them for everyone to see.
Does a smear test help diagnose wart-causing types of HPV? Or does that apply only to high-risk types?
Also, if HPV is supposedly dormant after 1-2 years (as close to cured as can be) AND you currently have warts, does that mean once the warts leave on their own you’ve cleared the virus?
