Typically doctors cant think outside the box – If its not in the text book, it does not exist!
You (the patient) must be CRAZY because I (the Dr) dont know about it >;-O

CRAZY = MS, Fibromyalgia, CFS, migraines, depression, bi-polar, Stress Disorders, & all other invisible disabilities

bellydweller – I take slow release morphine (MS contin) for chronic pain (fibromyalgia + migraines) please tell me about safety of LDN

Anyone else in my boat – what about results?

  7. sheenydonut says:

It’s possible, it would have to be a clinical trial though.

  8. NutritionFirst says:

join a yahoo LDN group. the members should know of doctors to recommed you to.

I am so happy to hear about your progress!

I shared some information about this drug with a friend who has MS.

i am trying this and hoping and praying it helps!

    could it be plusceebo?

I have secondary progressive ms. I can’t take usual drugs Rxd for the overwhelming fatigue I’ve had every day for so many years. My weakness was increasing, as was my nerve pain despite taking meds. Within a couple days of starting LDN I noticed much less fatigue, increased strength (which proved true at my next ms specialist appt), & virtually no pain.Since it works on the endorphins,it helped with my worsening depression, also. Somehow, we need more research!! Big pharma doesn’t care, no $

Don’t stop the shots, but maybe try this as a helper not a replacement.

  16. sassyluvsNS says:

This is so much better than shots! And i rather go through the horrible nightmares than the fear of the needle! I hope i am able to use this!

    Acupuncture is similar to LDN…

thats why scientist needs to look into this..

This is the first option available, that has begun helping me, to overcome Lyme Disease. It has only been several weeks, but I find symptoms subsiding, and gaining some strength. It is helping my immune system to take this on, along with a strict diet…”NO SUGARS OF ANY KIND INCLUDING FUITS!” You tube…..”Controlling Lyme Disease,” where I have made comments….under a thoughtful persons video on LDN. I have passed this on to a friend with MS, and into the lyme Community. Thank you. :)

My step mom started out taking 3 mg of LDN at night 1 hour before bedtime. On day 2 she noticed most of her pain was gone. She increased her dose of LDN to 4.5 mg shortly thereafter…I think one month….and she continues to do very well. Tell your girlfriend to give it a shot. It has really done wonders for her quality of life.

  20. cupcakesRgr8 says:

Because LDN is an opioid blocker…pain pills won’t work…but the good news is, the LDN took all of my step mom’s pain away. She never took pain meds for it since they didn’t work so that was never an issue. My biological mom also has fibromyalgia and takes an herbal remedy called Pho-Ti for her pain (not sure of the spelling but sounds like Fo T ). She says it works but she has to take a lot of it. Has she been to a fibromyalgia clinic?

  21. seo101wss says:

I seen a message that you had posted on youTube. I posted a message related to your message about the LDN and fibromyalgia. Was your Mom on pain killers? My girlfriend was told not to take LDN if she was on pain killers. This would be hard because she is really in pain. The message that I posted was under the name of seo101wss

  22. seo101wss says:

My girlfriend just was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. She was told that this product can help her. After reading more into this product I found that if you are taking opiates (she is taking lortab) that you should not use this product (LDN) Is anyone taking these pain killer products for pain? If not or if so, can you offer suggestions on how she can use this product?

  23. Prethenie says:

And diet is key. No sugars, including fruit, no dairy, soy or grains.

  24. Prethenie says:

For my Lyme Disease, I used Irmat Pharmacy in New York, and Marcie the compounding Pharmacist provided my LDN, (Dr, faxed in) a topical cream, so that I have complete control over dosage. So I need not repeat myself, You tube….”Controlling Lyme Disease,” where I have been posting progress. We all deal with dosage. Go slow and use the cream. You can make a dot this small if needed. “O” Increase as your body adjusts. This is too awesome to miss out on. My dosing, I am detailing and it is low.

oh yea…I got my step mom taking it for her fibromyalgia. On day 3 she woke up with NO pain. Amazing. She can also walk 2 miles a day now. I can also go running. Something that would have sent me to bed for a week before. This is amazing!!!
